Gerd und ich sind bekanntermaßen große Katzenliebhaber – obwohl wir noch nie eine eigene Samtpfote hatten. Der Abschied von unserer schwäbischen Zugehkatze – genannt Mäusle – die über neun Jahre bei uns ein und aus ging und quasi hier wohnte, fiel uns entsprechend schwer. Und es dauerte nur kurze Zeit, bis die sich in unser Haus traute, laut miauend um Futter und Aufmerksamkeit bettelnd. Ich nenn sie Screamy, weil sie wirklich sehr laut ist. „Das ist bestimmt ein Mädchen, so bestimmend wie die auftritt“, sagte Gerd, als sie ihn das erste Mal anbrüllte. Er hatte recht. Will immer im Mittelpunkt stehen und startet eine Charmeoffensive, um ihn rumzukriegen … Und weil sowohl Katzen als auch Susis Gewohnheitstiere sind, sind wir nun dicke Freunde – und zu dritt!
